MEET THE TEAM
Hi all! Coach Alli Ross here. I’m a Belmar native, a TCNJ graduate, and a NASM certified personal trainer. I still live in Belmar today with my husband, 3 amazing daughters and 1 crazy cockapoo. I’ve been a fitness enthusiast my entire life from playing team sports to just working out on my own. I fell in love with bootcamp style and functional fitness in 2016 thanks to an amazing instructor and friend. I started with Landmark in 2019 as a guest Sunday instructor. I immediately loved the facility, the people and the overall vibe, and I soon became the regular Sunday coach. I’m definitely an early bird, so you’ll mostly find me coaching the 5 and 6ams during the week with an occasional evening class sprinkled in. The thing I love the most about Landmark is definitely the people. I like challenging members to be their best and to have a little bit of fun doing it. When I’m not at LAF, I enjoy staying active with my family.
PM Assistant RISE Director
Hi everyone! My name is Ali and you can find me at either of the 3 desks checking members into their classes! I have been a member at LAF for a little over a year and a half now and have watched this community grow into something special! This gym provides a fun atmosphere to workout and crush your goals. I am currently finishing my boards exam and licensing exam to be a licensed acupuncturist. I’m so happy to be a part of the LAF team and am excited to meet new faces while working here!
Hello! My name is Ashley! I was born and raised in Rhode Island but have fallen in love with the Jersey Shore and planted myself here to stay! I am on the Member Services team here at LAF and love every minute of it! I love people (my degree is in psychology) and LAF has quickly become a community to me! Working full time remotely with a Traveling Nurse company I understand the importance of getting away from a computer screen and prioritizing health, fitness, growth and relationships. I am passionate about seeing others (and myself) grow and breakthrough what once may have seemed impossible! This place is like no other gym. The multiple studios that are offered are all incredible and each coach is knowledgeable to instruct, train and care for each member. Looking forward to meeting you soon!
My name is Frank Kellogg, I grew up in Piscataway, NJ and I now live in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. I first got into fitness by starting martial arts and football in high school. I continued with various martial arts throughout college, while also making weight lifting and strength training a more serious part of my life. I started a small summer fitness business in 2016 right after graduating college “just to make some money to go on vacation”. It worked needless to say and went to the Dominican Republic for 10 days before starting my life as an auditor for a Big 4 accounting firm. I worked there for approximately 1.5 years and then I decided I would return to my passions which were martial arts and fitness. I earned my 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo about 3 months after the end of my accounting career. I then took on my first fitness coaching job at Trident Fitness & Performance (which unfortunately didn’t make it through the pandemic era) but did lead to me eventually getting my position here at Landmark Athletics & Fitness. Some fun facts about me, during the pandemic era I attended some multi-day outdoor survival training, and travelled to Morocco, Africa for 3 months to volunteer with some kid’s fitness programs. Tons of stories!
Hi LAF Community! My name is Gianna and I’ve been a member at LAF for over a year and a half and been working as Desk Staff since May of this year. Full time I work as a hand therapist and help people achieve their goals and return back to life! I love LAF and how it achieves similar goals for their members with health and fitness! I love taking classes at LAF in addition to long walks on the boardwalk to stay moving. Grateful to be apart of the team and look forward to seeing you all around LAF!
Growing up I played competitive soccer and danced for many years right in all of the shore towns of New Jersey. My passion and dedication lead to me to have a collegiate soccer career playing at a division one level. After a few hardships, (physical and mental) I found my peace and tranquility through the art of yoga.
During the five years of finding myself in my physical practice, I realize how much yoga has become monumental in my journey of healing. Intertwining my breath and movement became therapy for me. The amount of serenity I’ve gained mentally, physically, and emotionally just by slowing my breath and finding my center has lead me as far as wanting to share what I’ve found with the rest of the world. Between the knowledge and depth of what this beautiful practice of yoga has to offer, I am very grateful to be able to share what I have learned and am still learning with all of you at LAF rise studio.
Jeanine is a former Division 1 track and field athlete who graduated Cum Laude from Monmouth University in 2016. Following her passion for health and wellness, she studied Health and Physical Education. She is currently in her 7th year working as a Physical Education teacher and presently works for Saint Rose High School. A lifelong devotee to fitness, Jeanine is also a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. When she is not working behind the scenes at the desk at LAF, you can find her regularly participating in classes here as well. She is a passionate and motivated person who loves to see herself and others achieve their fitness goals.
BOOTCAMP, RISE, & CYCLE
Hi everyone, I’m Coach Jodie, & have been instructing for ten years. I’m here to pass my knowledge, energy, and positive vibes to you, through my own style of training. Looking forward to having you crush your goals with me!
Kaitlyn is a Cycle Instructor here at LAF. She was a 5 year NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse athlete and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science Pre-professional and Business. Her favorite thing to do outside of the gym is going snowboarding. Kaitlyn is big on good music to make an endurance workout fun, and she is very happy to be part of the team.
Hello! My name is Leah Policari and I am so happy to be a part of the staff here at LAF! I am from Spring Lake and have been an athlete my whole life. I spent my first year of college swimming at West Chester University. I am now currently a nursing student attending Georgian Court University. Fitness is a huge part of my life and the community here at LAF is amazing. Everyone here is constantly pushing you to be your best self in and out of the gym! I look forward to meeting new people and seeing everyone reach their fitness goals!
Hi I’m Meggie! I am new to LAF and a new resident of Manasquan! I’m so excited to start my health journey side by side here with all of you. When I am not at the front desk you might also catch me at cycle, bootcamp or yoga, so make sure you say hi! I am grateful for the support everyone at LAF offers, and every time I walk thru the doors I feel instantly at home. In my free time I enjoy crafting; taking my dog for long walks, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to meeting you and making new friends along the way!
Hello Landmark!! I am Coach Nicole Giacopelli and I am part of the LAF Fight Club Program. I grew up in Queens, NY and moved to Point Pleasant Beach in 2021. I have been boxing and kickboxing since 2015, coaching since 2017. Although, I have been a coach, instructor, and teacher my entire life. Dance is another passion of mine but teaching is part of who I am. I received a Masters in Elementary Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University, this led me to start a program called Coco Dance Kids. I absolutely love every aspect of my life and am excited to bring positivity and learning into my classes. The Landmark community is unmatched and I’m grateful to be a part of it.
I’m Coach Nina, a local to the Jersey shore, although I did have a brief experience living in Hawaii for a short time. I live near LAF with my husband, my daughter and my dog who, you will notice, makes occasional appearances (not the dog). I didn’t grow up playing sports, but I did participate in dance and gymnastics. My first real attempt at a “team sport” was playing intramural rugby in Kutztown. GOOD TIMES!
I grew more involved with fitness in 2011 when I joined Crossfit. Who knew training and even conditioning could be so fun?!
Soon after that my passion for fitness grew and I recognized that I wanted to help others improve their lives and discover that although achieving your fitness goals can be challenging, it can also be fun and extremely rewarding!
I had the good fortune of meeting coach Erin. She introduced me to the LAF team, who greeted me with open arms in February 2019, the rest was history!
Outside of LAF you can find me on the beach in Manasquan running our local Paddleboard and Kayak Rental Company. You may even see some of our Paddle Fit and SUP Yoga classes pop up on the LAF Schedule from time to time! Otherwise, I love gardening, entertaining, and hanging out with my family and friends.
Hey!! My name is Sydney. You will see me at the check in desk, mostly in the Rise Studio, here at LAF. I currently live in Manasquan, NJ and I am a junior at Monmouth University. I am a health studies major and hope to attend PA school after I graduate. Growing up in tight knit dance studios made going to the gym extremely intimidating, but here at LAF both the members and the staff are such welcoming, genuine, and supportive people. I am so grateful to be apart of this team and look forward to seeing you all here!
My name is Tye Coleman I grew up in Tinton Falls, but currently reside in Howell. I am a father to my 12 yr old son Shawn, 6 yr old daughter Alex, and 2 yr old son Tyler. Growing up all I did was play sports but my main sport of choice was football. I’ve played football since the age seven all the way up to college. I attended Rowan University in 2008-2012. A few years after college, I landed a job as assistant football coach for my old high school. Instantly, I love it. I feel in love with developing kids to be better at the sport and the process. Three years into coaching, I starting training kids during their off seasons and started a training LLC called “Boss Up Academy S&A. I became NASM certified trainer in 2019 and started my journey as personal trainer. In November of 2020, a close friend working at Maddog Athletic and Fitness told me to come in to Maddog about an opportunity and the rest was history. Working at, now Landmark Athletic and Fitness has been nothing but awesome. Meeting new people and being about of the fitness journey is the best part. I am excited to see what the future holds. You can catch me in the 6 am, 8 am , and the afternoon class at 5, 6 pm. Bless up!
